Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer sliding-scale pricing?
I do! If you are interested in the Identity is Medicine packages, but can't afford the current rates, reach out to me HERE.
Why do you only work with womxn and femmes of color?
There are plenty of accessible services for white womxn and femme owned-businesses out there. Needless to say, there is a lack of such for womxn and femmes of color. This community, especially, needs to be afforded the resources to thrive in the world of business. I'm here to unapologetically offer these services
Do you have a brick and mortar location?
I don't. I'm a 100% online-run business. If you are local, I'm more than happy to meet you at a local coffee-shop for your initial consultation. Afterwards, we'll communicate via phone, text, email or skype for the remainder of our interactions to afford flexibility for us both.
* As a precautionary practice, due to COVID-19 ALL services are being provided 100% remotely, including consultations.
Do you provide web design services also?
Unfortunately I don't, but you're in luck! I also provide my content writing skills through Bella & Belle, Tacoma, Washington's ONLY Native American-owned creative design firm, specializing in web design, mobile app development and creative consulting. I'd be happy to refer those requests to the designers there. I'm also crafting a list of local womxn and femme of color creatives to refer your web design requests to.
What does decolonized content mean?
As womxn and femmes of color we have come to assess the world differently. Though in varying degrees, we grew up learning how we needed to move throughout a white supremacist, capitalistic, misogynistic, cis-heteronormative world in order to survive and thrive. However, this more often then not meant invisibility. Do not speak. Do not be seen. Blend in. To decolonize your business content means to fully step into the power you have as womxn or femmes of color in presenting yourself, your services and your products loudly and proudly to the world, through your unique narrative.
